Compositing Multiple Point-sets
Continuing our exploration of polar curves, this exercise focuses on rendering curves with points rather than solid lines. This technique was used extensively by Whitney, so we’ve chosen to recreate a classic image from “Digital Harmony” — page 128, to be exact.
The final product consists of four superimposed Rose Curves, which we show here both individually and as they are progressively added.
